The 805 Paranormal Society is a community-focused group dedicated to researching, documenting, and sharing the paranormal history of Ventura County, California and surrounding areas. My mission is to explore the intersection of local history and unexplained phenomena through educational walking tours, historical storytelling, paranormal investigations, and public events through the eyes and work I do on a daily basis. By combining historical research with my mediumship, I aim to bring Ventura’s hidden stories to life and allow voices from the other side to beheard and vaulted in a new and different way. From haunted downtown streets to historic landmarks and coastal mysteries, Ventura Paranormal Society invites locals and visitors alike to experience Ventura’s past in a new and mysterious way.

During the winter and spring months, 805 Paranormal Society hosts community meet-and-greet events, local market appearances, and paranormal lectures. These gatherings allow guests to learn more about local ghost stories, paranormal research, clearings, psychic and mediumship work and upcoming tours.
I offer guided historical and paranormal walking tours that explore the haunted legends, folklore, and hidden history of Ventura County. Our tours combine storytelling, local history, and paranormal traditions to create an immersive experience for visitors and residents alike. Each tour follows a carefully planned route through historically significant locations, sharing stories of the people, events, and mysteries connected to these places that I have done research on. Guests will learn about the area’s past while discovering the ghost stories, maritime legends, and unexplained phenomena that have become part of local lore.
Tours typically last 60–90 minutes and are conducted in small 12 person groups to allow for a more engaging and interactive experience. Included in all tours traditional paranormal investigation tools such as EMF meters, EVP, flashlights, spiritual communication techniques, and mediumship Spirit channeling.

The Downtown Ventura Ghost Walk includes stops near several historic landmarks and locations known for their eerie atmosphere and fascinating history. Below is the order of sights of the walking map.

1930s or early 1940s as a fire station. Located at 181 E Santa Clara St, it was converted into a hotel and has been operating as the Clocktower Inn since 1985.

📍 211 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001
Mission San Buenaventura, founded on March 31, 1782, by Father Junípero Serra, is the ninth of 21 California missions and the last one he established. Located in Ventura, it served as a hub for converting and training the local Chumash people, and is known for its seven-mile, Chumash-built aqueduct system.

📍429 E Main St in downtown Ventura, California
The historic Zander Building, located at 429 E Main St in downtown Ventura, California, was built and owned by George Zander. Historically, it served as a medical building for doctors and dentists

📍 501 Poli St, Ventura, CA 93001
Ventura City Hall, a Neoclassical/Beaux-Arts landmark built in 1912, served as the Ventura County Courthouse from 1913 to 1968. Designed by Albert C. Martin, it features a white terra-cotta façade with 24 carved Franciscan friars and an Italian marble lobby. The city purchased it in 1971, restoring it as City Hall in 1973.

📍 598 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001
Originally the Ventura Guarantee and Loan Company, built in the 1920's is significant for its decorative tile, three interior pastoral murals by Norman Kennedy and grillwork on the balcony. The ceiling is pre-cast plaster and painted to resemble wood by European craftsmen. The building was restored in 1961 by Theodor Groene.

📍 26 S Chestnut St, Ventura, CA 93001
The Ventura Majestic Theater, originally opened in 1928, is a historic movie palace known for its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. Over the decades, theater staff and visitors have reported strange apparitions, unexplained footsteps, and sudden cold spots, especially in the balcony and projection room. Some say the ghost of a former projectionist still watches over the theater, ensuring the films run smoothly. Today, the Majestic continues to host movies, live performances, and community events, while its haunted reputation remains a favorite story among locals and paranormal enthusiasts.

📍 695 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001
This Craftsman-Swiss influenced shingle chalet clad building was originally built by Walter Jones in 1912. Jones owned and operated a sporting goods store in the 300 block of Main Street at the time. It was common for merchants to build homes on Main Street within walking distance to their place of business at this time and this structure is a remnant of this era. Today, the building is the home of Emma’s Herbs, a long-time commercial business on the street. The upper floor also contains offices for various businesses.

It now is

📍 205 N Ventura Ave, Ventura, CA 93001
Cemetery Memorial Park in Ventura, California, was established in 1965 by converting a neglected 19th-century burial ground (est. 1862) into a public park. Following a 1944 ban on burials, the site fell into disrepair; the city later removed most headstones of the 3,000+ pioneers buried there to create the park. Originally serving as the town's primary cemetery, it was divided into sections for Catholics (on land donated to Mission San Buenaventura), Protestants, Jewish individuals, and a section for Chinese, Indian, and other residents.
